Foster parents will need to get pre-approval for vet care for their foster animals. Unless an emergency, we endeavor to visit one of our rescue coalition vet partners. If authorization is not obtained prior to the vet visit, the foster parent will be responsible for paying the vet bill and can then submit for reimbursement. However, depending upon the circumstances, submission for reimbursement does not necessarily guarantee reimbursement.
